Model Sarah DeAnna has a lot of experience with beauty.

She’s graced the walkways of New York, Paris and Milan and worked for high end fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire.

Now she’s bringing her experience in looking great to everyone in a new book titled Supermodel You, containing her tips for bringing out the supermodel in anyone of any age and size.

From the title, you can guess DeAnna is not promoting three candy bars a day as the best diet. But you can rest assured, she’s not advocating three carrots a day either. She discussed how she grew up eating not so healthy and how those habits carried on into the early years of her career. Now she’s dedicated to eating what she refers to as “real food” that’s not processed.

And it also happens to be hearty and vegan.

Of the breakfast smoothie she consumes in the morning, DeAnna said: ” “I throw everything in there. It probably has 700 calories!”

Other foods you’ll have in her regular regime include protein bars, nuts, fruit and juice and hummus with vegetables and olives.

“Food is energy,” she said.
