Kellie Pickler “Dancing With The Stars” Thanks To Lean, Plant-Based Diet

Kellie Pickler is burning up the dance floor with her moves alongside partner Derek Hough on Dancing with the Stars.
She’s spotting a physique so slim and sleek, host Tom Bergeron joked the show had another theme:
“If you just tuned in, we’re playing ‘find the body fat.”
Pickler’s ease with the cha-cha or ballroom dance can be attributed to her healthy, plant-based diet.
But it wasn’t purely health or looks that prompted the American Idol alumnus to change her eating patterns.
Pickler said:
“One night I couldn’t sleep and I was up and just Googling random stuff and I’m like, ‘Hmmm, PETA.’ I saw all the videos and I just thought it was horrible. It’s animal cruelty. A lot of it has to do with knowing what happens to the animals and it really bothered me and so I will not eat meat.”
Pickler is probably loading up on a lot of her favorite veggies are healthy carb snacks in between dance practice sessions.
“Asparagus is my favorite and I really enjoy grilled onions, peppers, zucchini and squash. I love fruit too and drink a lot of water to get all of the junk out! It’s really true about ‘you are what you eat.’ What you eat really is reflected on the outside.”
