Written by Vegetarian Star on December 24th, 2012 in Actresses, Food & Drink, Recipes.
Alicia Silverstone has already shared her vegan Hanukkah recipes.
Now it’s time for veggies who celebrate Christmas to get some tips as well.
The actress, author and animal rights activist has posted a gallery of photos and links on her blog The Kind Life.
Silverstone covers side dishes, entrees, desserts and beverages with enticing recipes for items like Wild Rice Cornbread Stuffing, Seitan Medallions with Mixed Mushroom Gravy, Berry Pie and good old fashioned Hot Apple Cider.
For those of you who still need last minute gift giving ideas, check out Silverstone’s Vegan Coffee Fudge Brownie in a Mason Jar.
This homemade gift involves layering the dessert ingredients in a glass jar, inserting the recipe card with instructions for baking and garnishing with a decorative ribbon, bow or other festive piece.
‘I love to be sneaky and give out vegan desserts without making a big deal of the fact they’re veg,” Silverstone writes. ‘This easy DIY is the perfect way to share the vegan love with your non-veg friends and family. You can put it together in an hour. Super easy!”
