Cheech Marin Assumes Vegan Artist Peter Max Eats Bushes

Cheech Marin is being honored at the ArtHamptons International Art Fair in Bridgehampton as arts patron of the year.
In addition to collecting art from a variety of genres, Marin has had the opportunity to meet with some exciting names in the field, including vegan artist Peter Max.
The two had an exchange on veganism, but it unfortunately wasn’t enough inspiration to convince Marin to add any veggie paintings to his collection.
From The Wall Street Journal:
“I’ve been on a vegan diet for many years,” Max told Marin.
“That’s my worst nightmare—I wake up and I’m a vegetarian,” Marin responded.
“You don’t know what to eat,’ Mr. Max explained.
“Bushes,” Marin said to describe the vegan diet.
Max has contributed a six-painting installation of Jackson Pollock portraits, on the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth, to the ArtHamptons.
At least he tried to contribute his diet wisdom to Cheech Marin.
