Timothy Bradley Invents “Vegan Before Fight” Plan

Another flexitarian diet has emerged, this one invented by boxer Timothy Bradley.
Bradley goes “vegan for 3 1/2 months” before every fight, a practice he’s been doing for several years.
“It’s been four years since I’ve been doing it this way,” Bradley said. “I just feel so much better. Cleaner, mental clarity. You see the physique. I don’t lose any muscle. I’m a lean, mean, fighting machine.”
He first attempted this practice during his 2008 fight against Junior Witter, which apparently left Witter more wilted than a bag of old, non-organic lettuce.
Some physicians pointed out to Bradley that some of the strongest non-human animals also eat vegetarian and the fighter was convinced grains, nuts and seeds make humans physically fierce as well.
“That’s all I needed to know. That’s what I’m gonna do — I’m gonna go vegan. I’m gonna eat trees and plants and fruits, grass. I’m gonna eat all of these things.”
