He’s got friends in low places .Where the whiskey drowns and the vegan food chases his blues away. He will definitely be okay.
The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that both Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood have adopted a vegan diet.
Brooks and Yearwood were dining at Wynn Las Vegas, one of several casino attractions owned by wealthy entrepreneur who turned vegan a few years ago himself, Steve Wynn, when Brooks made the announcement. He asked the wait staff to not only bring him vegan food, but a dish that was a personal favorite of Wynn’s.
Yearwood has a new 6-episode Food Network series that will debut Saturday, April 14th at 10:30am ET/PT, Trisha’s Southern Cooking.
“For me, cooking is very connected to my family and friends,” said Yearwood. “Every recipe on the show carries wonderful memories with my loved ones and I can’t wait to share my meals, stories and family photos with Food Network viewers.”
One of those recipes may be for a chicken-less pot pie, as it is listed as an example of Yearwood’s favorites on her official page.
