Guy Fieri and his crew made a stop in Boulder, Colorado this week to film an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
The Food Network star tasted samples from veg-friendly Boulder restaurants The Sink and Foolish Craig’s. Located in the University Hill neighborhood, The Sink is known for its burgers and pizzas and served Fieri “The Buddah Basil” pizza featuring pesto tomato sauce, tomato, tofu, spinach, fresh basil, and artichoke hearts.
The Sink doesn’t limit its meatless options to one pizza. There is an entire vegetarian menu featuring vegetarian paninis, reubens, burgers and pastas.
Foolish Craig‘s offers a variety of vegetarian crepes. The “Fool’s Gold” will have diners “Tofooled Again” with not faux wealth, but faux meat–tofu, broccoli, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms sauteed with peanut sauce. The “Veggie Crepe” is another vegetarian jackpot with broccoli, onions, tomatoes, brussels sprouts and spinach. You may also get veggie sausages on the side with your Tofu Scramble
No air date has been set yet for the episode, but according to Colorado Daily, it usually takes three to six months after filming for shows to air.

That’s awesome 🙂 I watch that show all the time with my omnivore friends and it’s always cool to see him enjoy something that’s not 90% meat
