Quantcast Vegetarian StarFlavor Flav Needs Flavor Of Fake Chicken On The Menu Says PETA

Flavor Flav is known for a lot of things, including wacky hats, bizarre outfits and starting the fashion trend of wearing large clocks around your neck.

Okay, so maybe not the last one.

What Flavor Flav isn’t known for, however, is being one of those cooler hip-hop artists that has embraced a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

Now, PETA is offering him a chance to amp up his image by making his fried chicken restarant vegetarian.

Business at Flavor Flav’s Chicken restaurant experienced a glitch when his employees were paid with checks that bounced. PETA is suggesting Flav “bounce” one more thing–the dead animals in his establishment.

“Greetings from PETA!” the group wrote in a letter. “After reading about the debacle involving employees of your fried-chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa, whose paycheques bounced, we’re writing to encourage you to bounce one more thing – cruelty – and make your restaurant vegetarian.”

While some write this move by PETA off as another publicity stunt, the fact is, a vegetarian chicken restaurant is not an outlandish or difficult idea at all.

Gardein, a very popular faux meat substitute is on the menu at Steve Wynn’s esteemed restaurants in Vegas in the form of Beef Skewers and other dishes.

As far as other mainstream restaurants are concerned, Chipotle also also a veggie blend featuring the protein as well as dozens of other veg-friendly establishments.

Flavor Flav’s Crispy Not-Chicken Fingers could be the next Flavor of Love.
