Chantelle Houghton Promotes Vegetarian Starter Kit In Leafwear

Chantelle Houghton has already made it clear she’s not into limp wieners.
Now, she’s giving more clues about what she looks for in another person by helping to promote PETA UK’s revised vegetarian and vegan starter kit at Covent Garden, a former fruit and vegetable market in England.
Dressed more modestly than some of her lettuce wearing predecessors who’ve donned skimpy cabbage bikinis, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant and winner chose a short dress made of greens.
The PETA UK vegetarian starter kit contains a dearth of information potential vegetarians and vegan can use to help them make the switch, including the following:
- Advice from well-known doctors who advocate a plant-based diet
- Risks associated with meat-based diets, including specific foods like beef, eggs and dairy
- Weight Loss Tips
- Raising Vegetarian/Vegan Kids
- Environmental Education
- Celebrity Features
- Food Substitions
And more…
“Vegetarians and vegans are, on average, significantly trimmer than meat-eaters, and they are less likely to suffer from heart disease, cancer, strokes and diabetes,” writes PETA. “Our colourful starter kits are packed full of hassle-free recipes and useful tips on making the switch. The magazine also contains anecdotes from many famous vegetarian and vegan celebrities, including Sir Paul McCartney, Leona Lewis, Pamela Anderson and Russell Brand.”
A sneak peak of the full color package can be found here.
