Ovie Mughelli Bringing Fitness Fun To Eco-Friendly Alive! Expo In Atlanta

Ovie Mughelli has often been called the NFL’s “green athlete.”
He’s hosted football camps for inner-city children that also teaches them about environmentally friendly living and has discussed in interviews how he greens his life, including buying and consuming organic products.
Mughelli and a few of his friends from the Atlanta Falcons will be teaching the value of physical fitness with obstacle courses and other learning opportunities at the Alive! Expo in Atlanta, Georgia that takes place in May.
The two-day event on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m, offers attendees the opportunity to learn about natural, organic and eco-friendly food, pet and cleaning products. There will also be cooking demonstrations, food and wine samplings, lectures from experts in the industry and interactive physical fitness demonstrations like Mughelli’s obstacle course, yoga and pilates.
Some well-known exhibitors that are also vegan friendly include cosmetic product company Aubrey Organics, maker of environmentally friendly cleaning products Earth Friendly Products, the Humane Society of the United States, veg friendly Luna Bars, veg friendly food company Ian’s and Zipcar.
Admission for each day is $10. Children under 16 get in free. The Alive! Expo will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Hall A2, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA 30313-1591.
