Meatless Mouthful–Lea Michele Says Horses Aren’t Cars

“It’s devastating. You see them in the rain, you see them in the snow. You see them in traffic like a car. I wouldn’t go out in that weather. I wouldn’t walk around in it. But they have to. They’re animals. They’re not cars.”
–Lea Michele, during an interview with PETA on the conditions carriage horses work in in New York city. A group called NYCLASS agrees that horses who pull carriages aren’t cars. That’s why they’d like to replace them with real vehicles.
