Written by Vegetarian Star on July 5th, 2010 in Animal Issues, Film & TV, TV Hosts.
Tonight Jane Velez-Mitchell is going to the dogs. And the cats. And the farm animals, wild horses and the monkeys.
The vegan host of Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell will use her show tonight on CNN’s HLN to discuss numerous animal issues, such as the Gulf Coast oil spill effect on animals, the plight of factory farmed animals, monkeys used in laboratories in Puerto Rico as well as interviews with Jorja Fox, Bob Harper and a PETA representative.
Outspoken and fiery Velez-Mitchell has used the CNN platform in the past to discuss vegan diets in children, animal sanctuaries, swine flu and factory farms and even Jessica Simpson‘s infamous faux pas of wearing a “Real Girls Eat Meat” t-shirt.
“Jane Fights For Animal Rights” airs tonight (Monday) at 7PM ET on HLN.

Hello, I have an issue about semi trailors travelling for miles with cattle, horeses, pigs and exotic animals. I do not live in the US, I am in Canada. Recently we have had a truck driver with a truck load of cattle parking at his residence and leaving the animals unattended, with no water and food. He is thier over nite which is hours these anilmals are being negelted. I would like to know if you can help me change this problem. I am sure it happens all the time, I imagine they are going to the meat market, but this just picks my behind to put it nicely. I am sure this is the same in the states also. Thank-you Cindy Hyer Wilson
