KJ Noons thinks animal abusers should throw a punch at him instead and see how they fare.
The Strikeforce MMA fighter and pro boxer has posed in this PETA ad against animal cruelty that reads, “Pick on someone your own size. Report animal abuse immediately.”
In an interview with the group, Noons said, “If you see an abused animal, think of it if it was your dog or your cat and how that would make you feel, you know, so you should feel that about every type of animal that’s abused.”
Animal cruelty is more than just inflicting physical harm. Neglect in the form of leaving a dog chained outside in extreme weather conditions and not providing adequate fresh water and food are also grounds for blowing the whistle on a bad pet owner.
The American Society for the Prevention and Cruelty to Animals has provide an extensive article with help on recognizing animal cruelty, laws regarding acts of cruelty and where and how to report.
Most animals aren’t able to defend themselves in the fight for their well being and need a compassionate human referee to call the fair shots.
