Eat Humane Food iPhone Application From WSPA
Written by Vegetarian Star on May 4th, 2010 in Animal Issues, Food & Drink, Tech.
An iphone application from the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA)allows you to choose both stores and restaurants that provide more humane products sourced from animals.
For vegetarians, this can help to avoid buying egg or dairy products produced in factory farms.
The Eat Humane Food app allows you to search by grocery store or restaurant.
When searching by store, the app can display all the foods considered humane sold at the business, ranking them in categories of “Good,” “Better,” and “Best.”
Restaurants are listed by city and offer a glimpse as to what humane foods, such as cage-free eggs are offered at the establishment.
