John Salley Produces “Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes In 30 Days”

According to Look to the Stars, John Salley is the executive producer of Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days.
Simply Raw follows the lives of six Americans with diabetes as they switch from a life of junk food to a raw, vegan one and alleviate their diabetic symptoms without medication.
Several notables in the health and food industry make appearances, including Super Size Me‘s Morgan Spurlock, raw food activists Tony Robbins and Woody Harrelson and Eat to Live author Joel Fuhrman.
Dr. Neal Barnard, president of the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine, an organization that promotes a vegetarian diet for health and strict ethics in animal research, has written a book describing a similar program based on studies that a vegetarian diet can prevent, control and reverse the symptoms of diabetes.

Wow I’ve watched this documentary twice and I had no idea that John Salley produced this! I’m glad to see that celebrities and athletes are coming together to advance a good cause! 🙂
