Recession? Ha! What recession?

The demand for Stella McCartney‘s leather free items from Stella McCartney Ltd. has caused her sales to soar and given Stella reason to increase her salary by 60% thanks to a 70% raise in profits.

According to This Is London, fashion insiders say lifelong vegetarian Stella’s reputation for refusing to use fur and leather in her designs, which include clothing, shoes and handbags, and the demand for cruelty-free items is responsible for the financial celebration.

Stella left a French label, Chloe in 2001 to set up her fashion label with Gucci, but didn’t make profits until 2006.

It was rumored that the big wigs at Gucci were growing impatient with the slower than expected success.

Bet all are happy in the executive office now.

It pays to stick with your values.
