Meatless Mouthful: Joanna Lumley Promotes Vegetarian By Example
Written by Vegetarian Star on September 3rd, 2009 in Actresses, Food & Drink, Meatless Mouthful.
“I’m a vegetarian and I long for people to eat less meat. But the thing to do is not to go, ‘Eat! Less! Meat!” It’s to say I am fit as a flea and I’m 63, I haven’t eaten meat for 40 years, and I never get diseases, I’m never ill, and I’m full of energy. So how’s about that?”
—-Joanna Lumley, actress and animal rights activist, during an interview with The Guardian.
Cause there’s no better way to say “Ha, told you so,” to your non veg friends than to flaunt your good health and well being.

One of the many, many, many reasons I love Joanna Lumley so much is, not only did she literally save my life years ago, she also inspired me into becoming a Vegetarian as well. She is really beyond the scope and description of Earthly words. Ms. Lumley is a walking humanitarian example of what one should inspire to create in their own lives. London is lucky to have her in their mist! Namaste’ Joanna!
