Missy Higgins Rewarding Fans Who Reduce Carbon Footprint

Vegan singer and musician Missy Higgins wants to treat her environmentally aware fans by rewarding them with a special unreleased version of her song, “Where I stood” from the album On a Clear Night.
If you pledge to reduce your carbon footprint by 2% in 2009, you can download the unreleased song for free.
Not to leave folks in a boat without a paddle, Missy has included 10 Ways To Decrease Your Carbon Output on her Warner Brothers Website, like buying local and organic, replacing incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs, and walking more just to name a few.
Kinda disappointing that Missy left off one of the biggest ways to have smaller carbon feet-by going vegetarian!
The idea of the pledge is taken from the Sierra Club’s 2% Solution, which theorizes that if we reduce our carbon emissions by 2% every year, by 2050, we can curb global warming and its consequences.

I am thinking about starting a homeless movement to reduce emissions. This would have a side benefit of solving the housing crisis. All I need is a few celebrities to make it look cool.
