Vaguely Vegan Anne Hathaway Hooked On Karen & Sisters
Written by Vegetarian Star on October 13th, 2008 in Actresses, Food & Drink.
Anne Hathaway recently appeared on the David Letterman show and said she had quit smoking, gone back to her vegetarian ways, and called herself “vaguely vegan.”
A source says she is really into the organic health line Karen & Sisters and loves the “Tokyo soba noodles, dumplings and veggie turkey.”
We searched and searched and for some reason couldn’t find a Karen & Sisters homepage, but we were able to find some nutritional info on other pages. Tofu nuggets, veggie chicken, and BBQ tofu are also items in the repertoire.
With a delicious lineup like that, who needs dairy? Anne may find her vegan vagueness becoming less and less muddled.

Karen & Sisters use to be better. They previously flash fried their tofu in food items, now they just serve it hard, raw, and let all the sauce do the work. Needless to say, the tofu is dry and it’s texture taste like cardboard. Too bad, I use to love their stuff – no more

Rain – is that what happened? There stuff was great, then it changed & it really isn’t nearly as good. It’s in the tofu texture. It’s just big slices now, none of the original style.

I love Karen sisters bbq tofu, so much that I am worried when I move I won’t be able to find it. Right now I can only get it at the salad bar at Whole Foods in PA…. anyone know if its sold in TX?
