Prevention magazine has been providing the world with the latest news and advice on health, nutrition and cooking for decades.
In a recent online article, the magazine has joined the growing trend of mainstream magazines recognizing the vegetarian and vegan lifestyle as a valuable component to health and featured five women who opted to go veg for reasons ranging from health to animal rights.
An organic gardner, a collectibles dealer, nurse, marketing consultant and jewelry designer all removed meat from their diets. Three of the women removed animal products entirely and went vegan.
The Organic Gardener:
“Now I’m purely vegan, and I eat more produce than I ever imagined possible. I’ll saute a big batch of veggies for the week. I freeze vegetables straight from my garden and can them, and I make my own salsa.”
