Dr. Travis Stork of The Doctors has ordered himself a greener, healthier prescription for eating over the years. One of the stars of the CBS daytime talk show, ER faculty physician at Vanderbilt Medical School and contributor to Men’s Health discussed his recommendation for organics and how he’s moved away from meat on his pizza to Maria Rodale, CEO and chairman of Rodale Inc.
The one item in Dr. Stork’s kitchen he can’t live without is, “A few cans of black beans. I use them in so many meals. They’re tasty, loaded with protein and fiber, and affordable.”
You might find Dr. Stork picking up organic veggies in the produce section of the Whole Foods in Nashville when he’s got a break from the ER.
