Mya Talks Vegetarian Diet In “Women’s Running”

A vegetarian diet hasn’t affected Mya‘s fitness routine at all.
The singer isĀ on the cover of the August 2014 issue of Women’s Running.
In 2010, the former Dancing with the Stars competitor made a New Year’s resolution to go vegetarian at least six months a year.
She successfully completed that goal and has spent the last year following the diet full time.
“There’s a stigma attached to vegetarian food,” she said. “My friends would say, ‘Oh, gosh, that’s no fun.’ But I discovered so many great dishes that I eat habitually now, because they’re delicious.”
