Meagan Duhamel Wins Silver Medal Skating At Sochi

Meagan Duhamel, Canadian figure skater who competes in the team category, has won the Silver Medal at the 2014 Winter Olympic games in Sochi.
Duhamel, who has won top honors in several skating competitions in her home country of Canada as well as Internationally, became a vegan in 2008.
Several years ago she revealed she’d be fueling up for the 2014 games by eating a nutritionally dense diet of items like “homemade bread, pumpkin-apple butter, granola, cookies, trail mixes, and snacks like that.”
Looks like all the hard work and eating great food paid off!
