Celebrate National Cat Day
Written by Vegetarian Star on October 29th, 2013 in Animal Issues.
Today is National Cat Day.
It would be great if every cat lover could be excused from work, school and other responsibilities, but unfortunately, this is one holiday that has yet to be approved on the legislators’ list.
(Get out there and vote next time and you could be spending next year with Fluffy on PTO.)
The day was founded in 2005 by Pet Lifestyle Expert & Animal Welfare Advocate Colleen Paige.
This lovely lady wanted everyone to raise awareness of the number of cats that need homes and to remind everyone what great housemates they make.
MSN Now has a humorous letter written from cat to owner, reminding him or her that there are no dogs allowed and that they should come home as early as possible to celebrate.
Don’t forget to grab a bag of kitty party treats this evening.
And don’t invite the dogs to the festivities.
