Move over Dr. Oz!
Lisa Oz is not just the good doctor’s vegetarian wife, she’s also the head of her own show on the Veria Living Network, The Lisa Oz Show.
Lisa and the Dr. raised children together, one of which happens to be Daphne Oz, the famous co-host of the popular ABC daytime cooking show, The Chew.
Having been a vegetarian since her teens, Lisa, like any mother concerned for her family’s health, was pivotal in helping the family make better eating decisions.
Back to school is a hectic time for any mother, but it’s always easier knowing you’re sending the kids off to class with lunches and snacks that help them stay alert and concentrate, are tasty and low in fat and calories to stave off the growing epidemic of childhood obesity.
Lisa has shared several of her favorite recipes with Access Hollywood, including Seasoned Nut Snacks, Frozen Fruit Parfait, Fruit Kabob, Baked Sweet Potato Fries and Homemade Hummus.
With Lisa’s recipes, your child will look forward to lunchtime at school or snacking after school. He or she might even become a favorite for trading food at the lunch table.
Visit Access Hollywood for all of the recipes.
