Victoria Bartlett Teaches Anti-Fur Message At New York Fashion Week

Victoria Bartlett is using New York fashion week to spread the anti-fur message.
The fashion designer has partnered with the Humane Society of the United States and is helping to put on a presentation today during the events to raise awareness on animals in the fur trade.
“I don’t believe in the unnecessary killing of animals for the sake of vanity; it should be obsolete in this day and age,” Bartlett said.
Bartlett will give the presentation as part of her spring/summer 2014 “VPL” show this afternoon at The World School 259 10th Ave in NYC. The event is for invitation only.
Michelle McDonald, fashion outreach manager for the HSUS said: “We are thrilled to sponsor Victoria Bartlett and applaud her ongoing commitment to animals and fur-free fashion. We must stop killing animals for their fur, and we encourage and support those designers pursuing virtuous fashion.”
