Leona Lewis Gives Cruelty-Free Shopping Lesson
Written by Vegetarian Star on August 2nd, 2013 in Fashion, Female Singers.
Leona Lewis has put together a mini-lesson in buying cruelty free fashion.
In a post to the site, Lee-Loy, Lewis gives her tips for finding animal-friendly shoes, clothing and handbags.
The article contains photos of some of Lewis’ favorite items, names a few brands she can’t get enough of and gives advice for checking to see if an item contains any animal products or byproducts.
Dressing cruelty-free can actually be thrifty, as Lewis explains that faux products are often less expensive than the real thing.
“Remember to always check the label to ensure its man made. I’ve found alot of the time shop assistants don’t know what the products are made from and will say its leather because they think its what you what to here, so always check for yourself. An obvious sign is the price, it will usually be a lot less if it’s man made.”
Cheap, cute and vegan?
It doesn’t get any trendier than that.
