Bo Obama may rule the White House, but several other dogs and cats took over the Cannon House office building earlier this week to participate in Capitol Hill’s Adopt a Pet Day.
The event was sponsored raise awareness to the pet adoption and was a joint effort by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Congressional Animal Protection Caucus.

A sign outside the door welcomed visitors to the “Paws for Celebration.”
