Tia Mowry Shares Top 5 Vegan Meals With “Vibe Vixen”

Tia Mowry spoke with Vibe Vixen about her life as a vegan.
Fairly new to the lifestyle, Mowry can understand how difficult it is to adopt and adhere to it (she admits she’s nibbled on fish occasionally, but never beef or chicken).
She shared some tips for overcoming these obstacles as well as a few of her “must try” vegan meals.
Not surprisingly, the meals aren’t at all complicated and some of them involve a matter of simply substituting an animal product for a vegan one, such as non-dairy milk.
Here are Mowry’s top 5 meals:
1) Breakfast: oatmeal with sliced bananas with rice milk.
2) Nice vegan green juice (add apple juice to sweeten)
3) Miso soup (miso/tofu/veggies)
4) Snack: any form of edible seaweed. Great taste and texture.
5) Dinner: grain, brown rice, kale, squash
Mowry became vegan on both the advice of a physician to improve both her short-term and long-term health.
“After doing a lot of research it became very clear that becoming a vegan was the best choice for me,” she said.
