Gavin DeGraw and Good Old War played at William & Mary College for the third annual Charter Day concert, part of the school’s 2013 Charter Day festivities sponsored by the non-profit organization Global Flight Relief.
The bands had a few vegetarian requests that had to be filled by the school’s music committee.
The list included coconut water, ginger chews, vegetarian faux meats and fruit.
“It turns out that tofurkey is not super easy to find in Williamsburg,” said Philip Basnight ’13, chair of the music committee.
“We like being able to provide the bands with what they want so they’re in good spirits and ready to put on a great show.”
Williams & Mary students, staff, faculty and any visitors in the Williamsburg area should always check out Happy Cow for its listing of vegetarian restaurants and stores nearby.
Because stocking the dorm fridge is just as important as fulfilling the rock star’s rider request.
