Amar’e Stoudemire Renews Vegan Diet With Greens

Amar’e Stoudemire admits to letting his vegan diet slip a little, but has recently gotten back on track with greens he says helps him gain energy by purifying his cells and releasing toxins.
The New York Nicks player favorite vegetables include asparagus, brussels sprouts and salads.
“It purifies the red blood cells and eliminates toxins,ββ Stoudemire said to the New York Post. βIt fortifies the blood. It helped me recover and persevere through injuries. I did that for three months. I wanted to really give myself the best opportunity to remain healthy.”
His recent lapse may have been due to a some cravings for his old favorite animal foods.
βI love chicken and I love Chilean seabass. I missed it. But I wanted to stay strong,” he added.
