Jamie Kilstein Uses Google To Find Tofu Avoid Vegan Hate Crimes

Jamie Kilstein has a recent interview with PETA2.
The comedian has an upcoming tour in the UK and although he is known for inserting his animal rights and vegetarian beliefs into a few of his routines, that doesn’t mean meat eaters will get a tongue lashing.
“A lot of people who eat animals aren’t the monsters we like to imagine. Many of them are ignorant like we once were,” he said. “They don’t think of a McNugget as a baby chick. They think of it as a McNugget, whatever the f*** that is. Most people love animals. We treat our dogs and cats like members of the family, but the cognitive dissonance is unbelievable when it comes to the dead animals we put in our mouths.”
Being on the road is easier than ever if you’re into meatless eating, according to Kilstein.
All it takes is an Internet connect and a few clicks to direct you to your next dinner, the best vegan latte, or where to avoid places known for their high rates of “vegan hate crimes.”
“Google! I try to only go to all-vegan places, and it’s getting easier and easier,” he added. “The best veggie burger I’ve had is in Texas, a place where I thought they hate-crimed vegans. It’s made travel much more fun—when you go to all-vegan places and see the tattoos, the indie-rock T-shirts, the political activists, you just want to be best friends with everyone.”
