Wolfgang Puck will be catering his 19th consecutive Oscars Governors Ball in February, and he’s already given a glimpse into the menu that celebrities and guest can feast on in the The Ray Dolby Ballroom on the top level of the Hollywood & Highland Center after the ceremony.
This year’s changes include smaller plates and more buffet style dinner options, with a total of 50 dishes to choose from.
Like previous years, Puck’s menu has something for Hollywood’s vegetarians and vegans.
Kale salad with grilled artichoke and lemon vinaigrette, beluga lentils with cauliflower and baby vegetables, and farro with apple, beet and spiced walnut are a few of the plant-based selection that will be available.
Puck is no stranger to gourmet vegetarian catering. Previous Oscars Governors Balls have included his vegetable pot pies and vegetable paella. He also catered an event for the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
The 85th Academy Awards ceremony will take place Sunday, February 24 and will be televised live in more than 200 countries.
