A new site has been launched that allows buyers of vegan, leather-free, eco-friendly and other ethical fashion to search for items of their choice.

Style-is.co.uk allows the shopper to search and view a product before being taken to a recommended online retailer that sells the exact product.

Founded by fashion blogger and marketing consultant Ceri Heathcote said she wanted to make sustainable designs more accesible.

“There is so much amazing sustainable fashion out there, but as I know from personal experience, it is not always easy to find just what you want. I would love for everyone to be able to see and shop the many different choices available including bold and bright African prints, handmade lace dresses, super soft bamboo clothing, unique handmade accessories, quirky vintage finds and much more. Sustainable style can be fresh, fun, fashionable, innovative, individual, classic, designer or affordable, it can be what ever you want it to be.”

Style Is features clothing and accessories for women, men and children and all items shown on the site must comply with at least one of the following guidelines:

– Use sustainable fabrics including organic cotton, hemp, bamboo and recycled
– Be a vegan alternatives to leather
– Made under fair trade principles or in ethical factories
– Be second-hand, vintage clothing and designer dresses for hire
– Be made in the UK
