Arian Foster Cheats Vegan Because “Wanted A Piece Of Chicken”

Arian Foster has recently admitted to cheating on his vegan diet.
Or, maybe he was never really vegan to begin with.
The Houston Texans’ running back told the Houston Chronicle it all happened one day when he “wanted a piece of chicken.”
Foster claims this is something he’s done since he declared himself vegan, but he mostly sticks to a vegan diet.
“I’m not in a cult,” he said. “Nothing’s going to happen to me. I just wanted a piece of chicken. It wasn’t like temptation. I felt like I could use one.”
“I’ve been dabbling back and forth,” Foster said. “I just like to eat healthy.”
“I’ve had meat since I said I don’t eat meat anymore, but I like to stay with the plant-based foods, but every now and then, I’ll eat something.”
Hmm…Don’t know how much of a favor he does for the vegan community now that he not only admits to cheating but also compares it to a group of mindless followers (cult).
Foster should definitely pay a visit to the veggie section of the grocer, where he’ll find dozens of faux chicken substitutes like Gardein that will make even the most carnivorous eater happy.
Should he start calling his diet “mostly plant-based?” Say he avoid all meat but poultry?
Perhaps he should do what NFL.com suggests and “Just don’t call it vegan.”
