Vegetarian Star

Kelly Osbourne has been dating a vegan chef for almost a year now and some sources say the two are set to become engaged any day now.

Matthew Mosshart was featured in New York Magazine‘s “Real Life Real Guys.” Originally from Vero Beach, Florida, Mosshart moved to New York and enrolled in culinary school. Not that his classes taught him much about cooking, especially when it comes to predicting the right quantities of ingredients.

“Cooking is not measured,” he said. “It doesn’t have to be specific, and I like the idea of winging it.”

One of his favorite dishes happens to be one that burns the calories before he even puts it in his mouth.

On making whole wheat pizza dough, Mosshart said, “You have to knead it and then let it rise, then beat it down and let it rise, and then beat it down again. It’s a full-body workout.”

While Mosshart’s meals have not convinced Osbourne to give up meat entirely, she is being more careful about the source of her food, thanks to watching a movie about the American Food industry, Food Inc.
