“The Chew” Features Dr. Oz Family Fried Rice Recipe

The Chew had a Mother’s Day special episode, featuring visits from the women who brought some of our favorite celebrity cooks into the world, including Lisa Oz, wife of Dr. Oz and mother of Daphne Oz, co-host on The Chew and author of the vegetarian-friendly book, Dorm Room Diet.
Lisa has been a vegetarian for most of her life and is credited for sharing her love of lentils, veggie burgers and tofu with Daphne, Dr. Oz and the entire family.
One of the Oz family favorite recipes is for fried rice. The Oz Family Fried Rice is a gourmet version of traditional take-out, featuring baked tofu over brown rice and shiitake mushrooms.
If you and mother are vegan, the 2 beaten eggs the recipe calls for are completely optional.
