Jillian Michaels said goodbye to her role as co-coach on NBC’s Biggest Loser, but she’s finding it hard to resist the role of fitness coach online. Michaels has now taken to the Internet, giving advice on diet, weight loss and nutrition in a column on EverydayHealth.com.
Published every other Tuesday, Michaels answers reader submitted questions in her column at EverydayHealth.com/Jillian.
“Everyday Health Inc. is the publisher of my official website and mobile app and through these platforms I have been able to help people across the country lose over 1.6 million pounds so far,” Jillian said. “I am pleased to expand this relationship to interact with and help inspire EverydayHealth.com’s 29 million health-conscious fans to unlock their potential and live their healthiest and happiest lives.”
A pescatarian who’s promoted vegan products, Michaels has already used the column to suggest a plant-based diet for better health.
When a reader asked how to avoid protein and vitamin deficiency on a vegetarian diet, Michaels gave examples of nutrient dense foods to consume such as quinoa, beans, lentils, peas, and nuts.
In addition to her column at Everyday Health, Jillian has regular video segments on health and wellness at Everyday Health’s YouTube channel, Youtube.com/Everydayhealth.
