Eva Longoria Carries Vegan Clutch To “Desperate Housewives” Finale

Eva Longoria was spotted at the series finale of Desperate Housewives carrying a vegan Jill Milan Art Deco Clutch.
The clutch, available in both gold and silver, is one of many items in the luxury collection by Jill Milan that creates high end fashion without the use of leather.
In an interview with FashionSalade, co-founder Jill Fraser discussed how the cruelty-free handbag line was created and how pleased even their non-vegan customers are with the materials.
“People often remark they are shocked our bags are not leather,” Fraser said. “It is because our faux leather is actually more expensive and has a higher quality than most real leather.”
All clutches are crafted in Italy and many are entirely handmade by an artisan in the jewelry industry.
“The Art Deco and all metal clutches are made entirely by this man. He also creates most of the hardware for the bags, including the horse’s head on the Thoroughbred bag, the strips of metal on the Pacific Heights clutch and the tiny strips of metal on the Newport tote.”
Keeping the anti-cruelty tradition, a portion of the sales from the Thoroughbred bag go to horse rescue efforts by the Southern California Thoroughbred Rescue, a nonprofit organization that works to rescue at-risk thoroughbreds from slaughter.
