Kim Kardashian Receives Faux Fur For Wedding Gift

The New York Post is reporting that Kim Kardashian and her new hubby Kris Humphries requested some pretty lavish gifts on their wedding registry. The list from Gearys in Beverly Hills featured items like a $7,850 vase and $670 plates for a total of over $66,000!
The newlywed’s gift from PETA was probably not nearly as expensive as the vase, but no less luxurious and priceless in terms of the message it sent.
Donna Salyers Fabulous Furs donated a faux throw to remind the two young lovers to begin their marital journey on a note of compassion.
“It’s no secret that Kim loves wearing fur, but we’re hoping that this elegant velvet-lined throw—the same style that is used at premier resorts—will help convince the future Ms. Humphries to say “I do!” to being kind to animals,” writes PETA2 on its blog.
Vegetarian or not, every animal lover knows that faux is the only way to go, especially after learning how real fur is obtain. Small cages on fur farms and painful traps in the wilderness don’t belong on an animal.
Those tools are better suited for a Kardashian bedroom.
