Emily Osment (Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, Hannah Montana: The Movie) stars in the ABC movie about the effect Internet bullying has on people. The film is aptly titled Cyberbully.
Osment plays Taylor Hillridge, a teen who becomes a victim of cyberbullying and is motivated to help change legislation because of her experiences.
Kelly Rowan (best known for playing Kirsten Cohen on The OC) plays Taylor’s mother Kris Hillridge who gives Osment the computer as a birthday present.
In real life, Rowan gave Osment something more important than a material gift. She gave her lessons in eating healthy.
“She got me on a healthy kick,” Osment said. “I’m completely, a hundred percent raw vegan now which is very difficult. I have all my own snacks with me here today, that’s for sure, but she’s the sweetest person and she did a fantastic job of giving me excellent advice.”
