Backstreet Boys Go Vegetarian For New Kids On The Block Tour

Singer Nick Carter has finally told meat, “quit playing games with my heart.”
Carter and the rest of the Backstreet Boys have gone vegetarian for their upcoming tour with New Kids on the Block.
“We’re getting a lot of rest and have switched over to a vegetarian diet,” Carter told Celebuzz. “I’m trying to get my brain clear and ready for everything that’s to come.”
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has already applauded the boys for making the switch.
“As the Backstreet Boys make the switch to a vegetarian diet, they are sure to experience some of the many health benefits associated with it, including an increase in energy, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg,” a representative from the group told WENN.
“According to the American Dietetic Association, vegetarians are less prone to heart disease, cancer, and diabetes than meat-eaters are – and they’re an average of 10 to 20 pounds lighter too. And there’s nothing sexier than a guy who chooses a humane diet over one that hurts animals.”
It the boys keep this up, next year’s Sexiest Vegetarian Contest sponsored by PETA is going to be filled with way too much competition.
