Vida Guerra Asks For PETA Donations In Lieu Of Birthday Gifts

Model Vida Guerra has shot a pro-vegetarian advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and is offering lucky viewers a chance to see exclusive, behind the scenes footage of her making the ad by donating to PETA.
Of course, it’s PETA, so viewers are guaranteed to see some skin!
Guerra chose to set up the donation site for her birthday, which is March 19, and is asking fans to give a gift to PETA’s efforts to promote vegetarianism and save animals instead of sending her cards, flowers and other gifts.
In a video located on PETA’s site, Cuban-born Guerra says she feels most Latin communities aren’t exposed enough to the vegetarian lifestyle and she hopes she can reach out to them. Growing up, her family ate mostly chicken and pork products.
“That’s how most Latin communities are; they grow up just eating meat,” Guerra says in the video. “Most kids don’t know. You kind of do the same thing you’re parents do. And they don’t know, so it’s like a vicious cycle.”
“I believe that being a vegetarin can benefit, especially the Latin community, because we’re used to just eating meats.”
Donations can be made at PETA’s secure site, and besides being able to view Vida’s sexy photo shoot, certain levels of donations also give donors a subscription to PETA’s Animal Times, a magazine filled with news, tips and recipes.
