Paul Watson To Speak At LA Go Green Expo

Sea Shepherd captain Paul Watson is one of several celebrities scheduled to present at the LA Go Green Expo, an event showcasing green businesses and their sustainable products.
During April 15-17 at the LA Convention Center, visitors can learn about more environmentally friendly living practices from over 200 booths as well as featured films, food and beverage tasting, hybrid and electric car displays and educational sessions on green building and home improvements.
Watson became famous among those not familiar with the environmental movement after Animal Planet launched a series about the Sea Shepherd’s adventures at sea that attempted to thwart Japanese whalers from achieving their quota in killed whales, Whale Wars.
During these missions, all members of the crew must adhere to a vegan diet.
In addition to his activism, Watson has published several books, including Shepherds of the Sea, Sea Shepherd: My Fight for Whales and Seals, Cry Wolf, Earthforce!, Ocean Warrior, and Seal Wars.
Other speakers set to present at the expo include Ed Begley Jr. and his wife Rachelle, Mariel Hemingway and raw foods chef Bryan Au.
