PETA To Blast Donna Karan Offices With Screaming Bunny Noises

If you don’t like the way something is, make some noise!
Literally.
PETA has plans to blast the offices of designer Donna Karan with the noise of screaming rabbits in a protest against Karan’s use of rabbit fur in clothing.
And this event is government approved. The group had to obtain a permit from the city of New York that specifies they can’t get loud enough to break her eardrums, but only enough to annoy her.
The noise level will not exceed 75 decibels at 10 feet away, which is about as loud as a dishwasher, vacuum cleaner or hair dryer.
A press release from PETA reads as following:
“On Saturday, as Donna Karan prepares for her Fashion Week runway show, her midtown headquarters will receive a noisy wake-up call, courtesy of PETA. The group has secured a sound permit (image below) from the New York Police Department to blast Karan’s offices with the sound of screaming rabbits. Protesters will also stand outside holding signs that read, “Donna Karan: New Age Hypocrite and “Donna Karan: Bunny Butcher.”
“The recording was taken during an undercover investigation of a fur farm in China, where Karan sources rabbit fur for her designs. Video footage shows workers pulling rabbits out of cages by their ears and stunning the screaming animals with electrical devices. Rabbits watch as other animals have their throats cut and their heads and paws cut off with knives before the skin is peeled off their bodies. PETA is calling on Karan to join the many top fashion designers—including Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger—who are 100 percent fur-free.”
