Men’s Health Magazine has named Rudi’s Organic Bakery’s Whole Grain English Muffins as one of the “125 Best Foods For Men.” The list is available online and can be found in the magazine’s November 2010 issue, which hit the newsstands today.
Rudi’s keeps its English Muffins vegan by adding agave syrup instead of honey to its simple list of natural, organic ingredients.
The Men’s Health list is divided into several categories, such as muscle builders, cancer fighters and heart helpers, designed to help readers reach their health and fitness goals. Rudi’s Organic Whole Grain English Muffins are designated heart helpers because of their whole grain ingredients.
The Men’s Health list failed in the category of Best Protein, however, as it failed to suggest any plant-based options.
“We’re confident our Whole Grain Wheat English Muffins are a nutritious and tasty way to start the day because of their sweet, nutty flavor and a heartiness that keeps you satisfied until lunch,” said Doug Radi, vice president of marketing for Rudi’s Organic Bakery. “We’re honored Men’s Health has recognized our efforts to bake on the bright side, using only the highest quality and organic ingredients that make for a heart-healthy breakfast option.”
Celebrate your health by trying one of Rudi’s Organic Whole Grain English Muffins as pizza topped with vegan cheese, tofu scramble as an egg substitute or even that peanut butter and fake sausage contraption by Death Cab for Cutie that is surprisingly delicious.
