Sarah McLachlan “Lilith Fair” Supports Fair Trade Food, Green Utensil Companies

Sarah McLachlan‘s founded Lilith Fair will be giving back to four selected businesses that have pledged to promote a more sustainable world through its products, through the fair’s i4c Campaign.
The i4c Campaign (acronym for “I foresee a better tomorrow”), was created to support a more ethical economy, and $1 from every ticket sold for the concerts will go to the campaign, which is supporting Alter Eco Fair Trade Foods, Better World Books, To-Go Ware, and Grameen America.
Alter Eco Fair Trade Foods works with small farmers around the world to bring healthy, sustainable foods like quinoa, rice, olive oil and chocolate to consumer’s tables.
To-Go Ware makes environmentally portable utensils from materials like bamboo and tin. Thank goodness, because, according to i4c, every year Americans toss out enough plastic to circle the equator 300 times. Can we get some biodegradable bowls at the next family picnic?
Learn more about the other companies i4c is supporting during the 201o Lilith Fair.

Great Article. I think the name of the company is Alter Eco not Alter Ego… 🙂
