Oakland Raiders Play At Most Vegetarian Friendly NFL Stadium

PETA has published its annual list of most vegetarian friendly football stadiums and the Oakland Raiders came in first place with their home turf at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
“Delicious, cholesterol-free vegetarian food could help offset JaMarcus Russell induced chest pains among Raiders fans and prevent the need for quadruple bypass surgery,” says PETA Director Dan Shannon. “The best way that people can sack potential health problems and hit pay dirt for animals and the environment is to choose vegan foods every chance they get.”
JaMarcus fans have no excuse for downing artery clogging foods, as the Raiders’ stadium serves veggie burgers, veggie dogs, burritos and salads.
Some of our favorites include Tony Gonzalez‘s Atlanta Falcons‘ Georgia Dome, which features baked five-spice seasoned tofu, curried grilled tofu cutlets and soba noodle stir-fry.
Wow. Is this a stadium or an upscale restaurant?
For the Mediterranean football lovers, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Heinz Field offers hummus.
Next year we’re hoping they add some falafel to go along with it. And some belly dancers who…oh, never mind that’s another male bonding form of entertainment.
