Quantcast Vegetarian StarMorrissey Denied Cooking Rights At “House Of Rules” In Boston

SINGER MORISSEY

How dare they!

Morrissey was performing at the House of Blues in Boston recently when he wanted to utilize their kitchen to make himself some grub.

They said “no,” proving even a celebrity can’t always have their way.

“You know what they said?” Morrissey asked. “No. People are just horrible, aren’t they?”

The singer wanted to cook some brown rice and peppers to take with him to his next stop at Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Because of this, Morrissey nicknamed it the “House of Rules.”

He was able to have workers pass out vegetarian info pamphlets in the lobby, though.

Does the House of Blues have strict rules about who they let in the kitchen? Or is it Morrissey they’re afraid to give a knife and skillet to?

I imagine it has something to do with insurance. They can’t let a non-staff member into the kitchen in fear of Morrissey chopping off his finger.

That or they don’t want outsiders to know the cleanliness state of the kitchen, hehe.

Wonder why he just didn’t ask the staff to make it for him?
