If you’re a vegetarian Chargers fan, congratulations! You can enjoy the game live without having to worry about munchingĀ on peanuts or a bland protein bar you brought from home.
Qualcomm Stadium, home to the San Diego Chargers, has been named the friendliest vegetarian NFL stadium by PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
You can stock up before the game and eat until your veggie heart’s content on bean burritos, veggie sushi rolls, vegetable wraps, veggie hot dogs, and Gardenburgers.
Coming in at second place is the McAfee Coliseum, where the Oakland RaidersĀ do their thing on home turf. Choose from veggie hot dogs, veggie burgers, and fruit cups for dessert.
The city of Philadelphia took first place this year for the best veggie baseball stadium, but they’ve come in 3rd place for football with the Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field offering veggie hot dogs and veggie burgers.
Finally, we all can be ready for some football!
Visit PETA’s blog for a complete list of NFL stadiums that made the top cut.
